Photos: Mothers Day Tea Soiree [May 2025]

In May 2025, Ali Stone of The Studio Chicago and Tamara Edwards of Broad Shoulders co-hosted a Mother's Day Tea Soirée, an evening celebrating the strength, wisdom, and grace of mothers. 

The gathering brought together over 40 women for an open discussion on the expansive experience of motherhood — from its joys and challenges to its enlightening lessons. 

Key takeaways included the reality that there's no perfect time to balance entrepreneurship and motherhood, the importance of self-care and integrating children into one's life, the dual nature of time management as both a reward and a struggle, and the understanding that postpartum recovery is a long term journey best supported by strength training.

There were harps.
